The weaving
From the warping to the loom preparation, weaving a ribbon is a technical and complex process that needs a great rigour.
Our production tool is composed of a modern and high calibre range of machines that helps us to produce more than 15 million of meters per year.
The dyeing
All our outputs are weaved in raw, which implies that the ribbons and tapes need a finishing operation. They can be dyed or they can get a special treatment in order to give them their specific skills.
We do provide the Oekotex standard 100 certification that ensures the nontoxicity of the dying stuffs we use for the body as well as for the environment.
We master the treatment of fragrance encapsulation on textile fabrics that can also be customized on required basis. The ribbon becomes then an olfactory communication media.
The printing
Whatever Flat or in relief Screen printing, sublimation, many renowned French and international brands have chosen to entrust HERAUD RUBAN company.
Our production tool allows us to easily customize a ribbon by means of screen printing or laser engraving from 1000 meters.
The sublimation printing helps the double side printing of your ribbon in any mixed colour our customers may want.
Gluing operation
HERAUD company has created one unique gluing process that allows laying glue directly over any kind of ribbon. Thanks, this method, we can stick two different ribbons on each other for a double side two colours effect.
Furthermore, this gluing process gave us the opportunity to create one brand new patented product called: “the textile decalcomania” which refers to a multi-element adhesive sticker.
The cutting process
Our brand-new laser cutting machine helps us doing very complex designs and logos with great precision.
We can propose a large range of cutting styles such as the “kiss cutting”, “through cutting”, straight or wrinkled cuttings thanks the laser and or ultrasound technologies.
The makings and realisations of decorative objects
Our job is also the made to measure and customization! We can do many transformations of the ribbon: Tip fixing, special decorative knots, double side adhesive tape laying, blotter wrapping.
